On the eve of the celebration of the Constitution Day and the State Flag of Turkmenistan, solemn events are held in educational institutions of the country.

This week, musical and creative programs and meetings with students were organized at the capital's schools and universities in cooperation with the Centralized Library System of Ashgabat City Department of Culture, library branches, as well as the Ashgabat City Committee of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan.

Representatives of libraries told the younger generation about the significance of the holiday and the history of its origin.

The adoption of the Constitution of independent Turkmenistan on May 18, 1992 became a new milestone in the political development of the country. The green Flag of the Fatherland has deep historical roots, symbolizing the commitment of the Turkmen people to the ideals of peace, creation, humanism and goodness.

The annual celebration of the Constitution Day and the State Flag of Turkmenistan is aimed at creating and spreading constitutional values among citizens and, in particular, among young people. Therefore, this double holiday has a special meaning in the current year, held under the motto "Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar".

It is extremely important for the state that today's young people preserve the heritage of their ancestors with dignity, linking their aspirations with a strengthening stability and social harmony, for the benefit of independent and neutral Turkmenistan.
