The second round of the Turkmenistan Futsal Super League has started with the matches of the 8th round in Ashgabat.
Just to remind, eight football clubs are fighting for the title of national champion. Five of them – "Kopetdag", "Gumrukchi", "Senagatbank", "Migration" and "Milli Goshun" – represent Ashgabat, two of them are "Denizchi" and TCOR from Turkmenbashi, Balkan velayat and "Turan" from Dashoguz velayat. It is noteworthy that the northern region of the country has been represented in the futsal Super League for the second year in a row. Last year, the team of this velayat performed under the name "Dashoguz", and this season it changed its sign to "Turan".
The futsal players of "Turan" and "Denizchi" were the first to enter the site of the Institute of Engineering - Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan. The match was held with a noticeable advantage of the team of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport, which achieved a victory with a score of 7:1.
In the following matches of the round, "Kopetdag" beat "Migration" - 4:1, and "Senagatbank" confidently defeated "Milli Goshun" - 4:0. In the last match of the game day, "Gumrukchi" defeated the team TCOR with the same score.
After the 8th round, "Kopetdag", the vice-champion of Turkmenistan, holds the leadership in the Super League of Turkmenistan with a 100% result – 24 points. Three points behind it is "Denizchi", the current three-time national champion. "Senagatbank" closes the top three with 16 points, 2 points ahead of the nearest pursuer "Gumrukchi".
In the next, 9th round, the leaders will meet with each other. This will be the second game in the current Super League between "Denizchi" and "Kopetdag". The match of the first round ended with the victory of "Kopetdag" with a minimum score of 1-0.
In other matches of the 9th round will play: TCOR – "Turan", "Gumrukchi" – "Milli Goshun", "Senagatbank" – "Migration".
