Brain-ring with the participation of students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy, the greatest poet and philosopher of the East, was organized by the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan in cooperation with the Ministry of Education of the country.
The intellectual game is held throughout the current month and includes 4 stages: the qualifying stage, the quarterfinals, the semifinals and the final game.
As of today, the first stage of the competition is already over for the participants. It included eight games, in each of which two teams of players, representing a total of 16 universities of the country, acted as opponents. The pairs of opponents in the games were determined by the principle of drawing, which preceded the start of the first stage of the brain-ring.
The student games were held in a lively, bright and intriguing atmosphere. The participants united in the desire to achieve the best results, to prove their superiority, to give out the right answers at lightning speed, and all of them undoubtedly longed for the cherished victory. The brain-ring theme and all the questions were devoted to the most interesting life and work, the richest literary heritage of the greatest genius Magtymguly Pyragy.
As a result of the competitions, 8 out of 16 teams were recognized as the best experts on the topic, who showed broader erudition and the ability to quickly answer the questions of the presenter. Thus, the participants of the quarter final are the teams of the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmamed Azadi, the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov, the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S. Seydi, the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, the International University of Humanities and Development, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmeistan and the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly.
The quarterfinals of the student brain - ring will be held at the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan next Sunday, when 4 best teams out of 8 expert teams will be recognized as leaders of this stage and participants of the semifinal game. Then, according to the results of the semifinal, 2 of the worthiest teams will be determined out of 4 teams, which will meet in the final - a decisive game to name the absolute winner of the intellectual game.
