The other day, on the artificial climbing wall of the capital's Cultural and entertainment center "Alem", a children's rock festival was held, organized by the alpclub "Agama".

In the event, which has become a good tradition, more than two hundred participants under the age of 13 tried their hand at rock climbing. Young climbers enthusiastically climbed up the vertical "cliffs" under the watchful eye of experienced instructors of the Agama climbing club. Even the youngest participants of the festival tried to overcome all presented routes.

In an effort to get to the finish line of each of the proposed routes, the participants boldly clung to suitable holds on the sheer walls. Overcoming difficulties, young climbers repeated attempts and achieved what they wanted.

Experienced climbers with knowledge of the matter helped to put on equipment and insure younger comrades. Valuable advice was given, because many of the participants tried their hand at this sport for the first time. Thanks to the vigilant attention of the instructors, the lack of experience did not prevent the children from achieving good results in trying to conquer the slopes.

Near the place of registration of participants, the achievements of the members of the alpclub "Agama" were introduced to the visitors by a video shown on the screen. Here one could clearly see the beauty of mountain landscapes and successful high-altitude ascents.

Young climbers were supported by parents and friends. Having overcome the proposed routes, the participants hurried to share their impressions with their loved ones, told the bright moments of their attempts to conquer the artificial rocks.

The final stage of the festival was the presentation of certificates from the Agama alpclub, sweet gifts from the Children's Fund at the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly and memorable prizes from the EU Delegation to our country.

Perhaps, inspired by the success of this event, the children will be carried away by this sport. Regular classes in the alpine club will help not only to strengthen the muscles, but also to master many useful skills that will be useful when traveling through mountainous and desert areas. Children will learn how to properly set up a tent, collect only the necessary things in a hiking backpack, cook food on a camping trip, and much more.
