The Scientific Potential of Our State is the Most Important Component of its Power and Prosperity

An International Scientific Conference “Science, Technology and Innovative Technologies in the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State” started its work in the Turkmen capital today. The representative forum, traditionally timed to coincide with the widely celebrated holiday in our country – the Day of Science, has become another clear evidence of the priority attention of the Turkmen state to the development of domestic science.

In addition to Turkmen scientists, the forum brought together teachers and young employees of specialized institutes of the Academy of Sciences and higher educational institutions, representatives of the scientific community from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Russia, the Republic of Korea, Tajikistan, Turkey, Japan, etc.

The grand opening of the conference took place at Oguzhan University of Engineering Technologies, an advanced scientific and educational center of our country.

An exhibition of innovative projects and technologies presented by students and young teachers of the university was launched here.

The delegates of the forum listened with great attention to the welcoming Address of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the scientific community of independent neutral Turkmenistan and the participants of the International Scientific Conference held in the year “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar”.

During the plenary session, welcoming speeches were made by representatives of well-known scientific centers – presidents of the Academy of Sciences of their countries, academicians Isa Hebibbeyli (Republic of Azerbaijan), Farhod Rakhimi (Republic of Tajikistan), chief scientific secretary of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus, academician Vasily Gursky, president of the Academy of Sciences and technologies, Academician Chau Van Minh (Socialist Republic of Vietnam), Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician Viktor Rudenko and many others.

The topic of the great Seljuks’ role in the development of humanistic ideas in medieval oriental poetry was considered in the speeches of foreign delegates in the humanities. It was noted that dozens of legendary states of the Seljuk dynasties, having covered themselves with unfading glory, being recognized centers of the spiritual culture of the East, created a favorable atmosphere for the rapid development of science, the flourishing of culture, art and literature.

Foreign participants of the forum, reaffirming their commitment to further comprehensive expansion and deepening of fruitful cooperation with their Turkmen colleagues, exchanged views on ways to increase it in the context of the priorities of national development programs.

They took part in the celebrations dedicated to the Science Day, including the awarding ceremony for the winners of the scientific competition for young scientists of the country.

On the way of active entry into a number of economically prosperous, industrialized countries of the world, Turkmenistan has chosen the sphere of science as a fundamental base. Large investments directed by the President of Turkmenistan in the scientific sphere act as a powerful stimulus in strengthening the scientific potential of the Homeland, expanding the scope and deepening the content of scientific research, and forming a basic scientific industry that meets modern world standards.

All this offers Turkmen scientists a full opportunity to develop scientific projects and new technologies. And most importantly is to quickly implement them, which is the most important task set by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the scientific community.
