Young scientists of the Technology Centre of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan took an active part in the annual competition of scientific works among the youth of Turkmenistan, organized by the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization.
Oguljemal Begmyradova, a graduate student of the Technocentre, became the winner and was awarded the honorary title of «young scientist». Her abstract «Methods for obtaining magnesian substances from local raw materials» was noted as the most promising.
According to the author, the main goal of the work is to develop the scientific basis for the complex processing of dolomites from the deposits of Turkmenistan, as well as methods for isolating magnesium compounds from highly mineralized wastewater from the iodine-bromine industry.
For these purposes, a number of studies were carried out to obtain compounds such as magnesium oxide from dolomite, highly mineralized wastewater. Magnesium oxide is used in various industries - construction, chemical, food, pharmaceutical, as well as in the production of steel, refractories, rubber products.
The main sources of magnesian substances are dolomites of the Kelete, Koytendag deposits and highly mineralized iodine-bromine industrial waters.
Prize-winning places in the competition were also won by two representatives of the Technocentre - Enejan Kulyyeva and Alty Bayramov.
The value of the research conducted by E. Kulyyeva lies in the fact that she has developed methods for obtaining mixed nitrogen-phosphorus-sulfur fertilizers by reusing waste released into the environment. Mixed fertilizers are widely used in agriculture and greenhouses to increase fertility and improve soil structure, retain moisture in it. The scientific developments of the young scientist have received certificates for use and have already been proposed for implementation in production at the chemical plant named after. S.A. Nyyazov State Concern «Turkmenhimiya».
Like the work of O. Begmyradova, the developments of E. Kulyyeva related to resource conservation are a step towards the development of a circular economy or a circular economy, which in the modern world is considered as a relevant alternative to the classical linear economy based on the principle of «production - use - disposal».
The developed Program of Alty Bayramov facilitates the work of a teacher in schools and higher educational institutions, has a positive impact on the effectiveness of the lesson and the memory of students. According to the developer, the system is easy to learn and use. Available to all interested.
