Today, the International Investment Forum "Smart City Arkadag" is being held in the conference hall of the "Markav" Hotel of the new city.

It is attended by delegates from various countries of the world, as well as representatives of leading international and regional organizations, reputable financial institutions, and major foreign companies.

From the Turkmen side the forum is attended by heads of ministries and industry departments, banks, relevant scientific institutions, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

During the official opening ceremony, there have been read out the welcoming Address of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in which it is emphasized that such events provide great opportunities for establishing and strengthening fruitful partnership, expanding friendly contacts.

The message of the head of Turkmenistan also expresses confidence that the current forum will make it possible to intensify the attraction of investments in increasing the potential of sectors of the national economy, socio-economic and industrial development of the city of Arkadag, as well as accelerate the implementation of the "smart city" concept in the Era of the Revival of a New Epoch of a Powerful State.
