Magtymguly through the eyes of youth

"Jeýhun bilen bahry-Hazar arasy" - this line from the well-known poem "Türkmeniň" by Magtymguly Fragi became the title of a student essay competition held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The competition is organized by the Department of Theory and Practice of Journalism and the scientific and creative circle "Young Journalists" of the Institute and is dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the greatest poet and philosopher of the East Magtymguly Fragi.

The creative event was attended by students of various areas of training and specialties of the Higher School of Diplomacy.

According to the results of the competition, the first place was awarded to Meylis Sadykov, a third-year student of the Faculty of International Journalism. The second place was given to Oraz Nurliev, a 1st year student of the Faculty of International Law, the third place was awarded to Maysa Ashirova, a 1st year student of the Faculty of International Journalism. The winners and prize-winners were awarded certificates of honor and memorable gifts from the organizers of the creative review.

As was emphasized during the awarding ceremony for the winners of the competition, in their works, the students widely demonstrated their personal understanding of Magtymguly's work, their view on the nature and theme of the author's works, and most importantly, their deep interest in their study and analysis. The unique creative world of the poet-thinker, the brilliant meaning and educational value of his poems are comprehensively reflected in the student essays submitted for the competition. The artistry and originality of the content of the works, the consistency and completeness of the presentation of creative ideas and thoughts were one of the main criteria for evaluating the compositions.
