There is a continuation of the intellectual project "Young Messengers of Peace" conducted by the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the School of Young Diplomats within the university. The organizers announced the launch of the third season of the grandiose career guidance project for high school students of Turkmenistan, which will start in the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year.
At this stage, the IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country is recruiting candidates for participation in the project. Pupils of 9, 10 and 11 grades of Turkmenistan's schools who wish to take part in the competition should submit personal information to the organizing committee by September 5 of the current year to the following e-mail address: parahatchylygynchaparlary@gmail.com.
The information should include the following data: 1. Personal data (including a 3x4 photo); 2. Achievements in studies, creative work, competitions; 3. Knowledge of foreign languages; 4. Academic interests, additional activities, hobbies, etc.
The qualifying exam will be held in the form of testing in the first decade of September. There are 100 questions on English language, history of Turkmenistan and world history of XVII-XVIII centuries, as well as on the life and works of Magtymguly.
In commemoration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy, the greatest poet and philosopher of the East, the new season of the project will be held under the slogan "Teachings of the Great Magtymguly Pyragy - national beacon of universal values".
Based on this, the content of the contest will include questions devoted to the life and literary heritage of the genius creator and compiled on the basis of his works, as well as books and movies about the poet.
The third season will consist of eight qualifying round games, two semifinal games and the final. Taking into account the specifics of the contest, each game will be held on the topic of foreign policy and diplomacy of the Turkmen states of a certain historical period. The contest questions will be in Turkmen as well as in foreign languages.
The topics of the upcoming eight qualifying round games are known. These include: Dovletmammet Azadi and international relations in Central Asia in his era. (States in Central Asia, foreign policy in them, and the Russian Empire's increasing interest in Central Asia. Khojanepes. Expeditions of A.B. Cherkassky); International relations and diplomacy of the Safavid Turkmen state in the late XVII - early XVIII century; Foreign policy and international relations of the Afsharid Turkmen state and others.
