Specialists of the Dashoguz Hydrogeological Expedition of the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" have fulfilled the work plan of the first half of the year on drilling works by 120.6%. The team carries out a large volume of various activities in accordance with the approved schedule. These include search of underground aquifers on the territory of velayat, clarification of reserves, study of structure, quality and chemical composition. In addition, groundwater is thoroughly analyzed and geo-ecological images are carried out.

The quality of drinking water was studied in the geneshliks "Agzybirlik", "Ak Altyn", "Täze Zaman", "Gyzyl takyr", "Ak bugdaý" of the Akdepe etrap, "Guwanç Atamedow" of the Boldumsaz etrap.

There have been completed prospecting and exploration works, providing drinking water to the population of "Zähmet" geneshlik of Akdepe etrap, the detailed report has been sent to the State Corporation "Turkmengeology". Works of various directions in the field were carried out on one of the sites along the course of the Turkmen lake "Altyn Asyr" and on the territory adjacent to the reservoir, in some places of the cultural and desert zone of the region.

In Dashoguz velayat, full-fledged supply of high-quality drinking water to the population and consistent improvement of water supply infrastructure are strictly based on careful and rational use of water resources, including available fresh groundwater reserves.

The team of Dashoguz Hydrogeological Expedition successfully makes its important contribution to the search and development of new drinking water resources in the region and regularly achieves an increase in the efficiency of its indicators.
