Among the priorities for the second half of the year discussed at extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on July 14, was designated preparation for the new school year, before the start of which there are just a few more than a month.

Addressing relevant leaders, the President Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the need to comprehensively prepare for the new academic year, to conduct cosmetic and major repairs of buildings of secondary and higher educational establishments. Also among the main areas of upcoming events was called - improvement of curricula and plans, supply schools with the necessary number of textbooks and teaching aids.

Every year, by order of the Ministry of Education, the state the country's publishing service produces a number of textbooks, manuals and working notebooks in Turkmen and foreign languages for general education schools. They are written by experienced scientists and educators-practitioners, and approved by educational experts.

Among the novelties of school literature, prepared for the upcoming academic year, several textbooks are intended for first graders. Among them: "Drawing", "Artistic work", "Music and singing", "Turkmen language", "German language", "Mathematics" and "Fundamentals of Informatics".

An updated German textbook will be received by 6th grade pupils, and for ninth graders, textbooks have been issued - "Turkmen language" and "Fundamentals of the State and Law of Turkmenistan". New textbooks on school subjects "Literature", "Algebra", "Geometry", "Chemistry", "Computer Science" and "Culture of Behavior" prepared for students 10 classes with Turkmen and Russian as the language of instruction.

School novelties are of high printing quality, rich illustrative material.
