On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) among students of secondary educational schools in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey and Turkmenistan competition of the best essays on the topic "TURKSOY - the golden bridge of the Turkic peace."

The purpose of the competition is to preserve and further develop the community of culture, traditions and customs of the Turkic peoples in the modern world.

For consideration by the selection committee were submitted essays by students in aged 13 to 15 years old, studying in state general education schools. In written works, contestants expressed their thoughts about the cultural heritage of their ancestors.

As a result of the competition, three representatives from each country were awarded prize places.

Among the schoolchildren who participated from Turkmenistan, the winners were: Akpamuk Maksadova, Aizada Gurbanmuradova, Gulnur Annamuradova.

It is expected that the best essays on a given topic will be published in collection form.

It should be noted that as part of the celebration this year of the 30th anniversary of the creation TURKSOY, Turkmenistan hosted Week of Turkic culture states. Concerts were held in the capital and regions of the country, celebratory events, conferences aimed at further interaction with this organization.
