The Turkmen Agricultural Institute summed up the results of the “AgriHack” hackathon, conducted by the institute with the participation of student teams of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan.
The highest award – the Grand Prix of the competition was won by the team of Institute of Telecommunications and informatics of Turkmenistan.
The jury awarded two honorary first places to students of the Institute of Engineering-Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan and International University of Oil and Gas named after Y. Kakaev.
Based on the results of the competition, the winners of three second places were determined, two of which were received by students of the Turkmen State Institute economics and management and one - the Turkmen team Agricultural Institute.
The top five winners who took third place at the end of the competition included: two teams of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, as well as teams from the State Energy Institute Turkmenistan, Turkmen State Institute of Economics and management and the Turkmen Agricultural Institute.
The winners and runners-up of the competition were awarded diplomas corresponding degrees and valuable gifts. Incentive prizes awarded to four more universities participating in the hackathon.
In addition, developments prepared and proposed as part of the competition will be considered by the organizers for the purpose of their further implementation and launch into production.
Let us remind you that as part of the hackathon, teams had to a certain time to prepare and present to the panel of judges innovative solutions in the field of electronic market development agricultural products.
Students of the country's higher schools have widely demonstrated deep knowledge and excellent abilities in the IT field. Competition between teams took place in the spirit of competition, the participants united in their desire achieve better results and prove your superiority.
Student developments were assessed according to the following criteria: scientific approach, possibility of practical implementation, full functionality, relevance, design, ergonomics, novelty and creativity of the ideas.
The hackathon allowed us to evaluate the digital skills of students, practical skills in developing web services, ability to use languages programming, as well as determine the capabilities of the organization and management of digital systems, freely navigate modern digital environment.
The competition helped stimulate youth activity in the field science and innovation, improvement and development of abilities in mastering techniques and solving problems in technical and technological areas, improving students' professional skills.
