Today, the modern architectural ensemble of the country’s main city has been replenished with a complex of beautiful new buildings along the central highway – Magtymguly Avenue. This is the Arkaç Shopping and Entertainment Center with a Business Center and underground parking, which will become another epicenter of business life, organized wholesale and retail trade. Hundreds of new jobs have been created here with its opening.

...On the square in front of the new building, there is an atmosphere of general emotional uplift and great celebration. The building and surrounding area are elegantly decorated. On the occasion of this significant event, numerous Turkmen citizens and guests of the capital gathered here. Music and songs sound, giving what is happening a special joyful mood.

Those gathered expressed great gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for his full support of the domestic entrepreneurial movement, thanks to which small and medium-sized businesses in the country are gaining enormous scope. Private enterprises have not only established the production of many previously imported types of products, meeting domestic needs, but also entered foreign markets, establishing supplies to neighboring countries and expanding the geography of exports.

The Arkaç Shopping and Entertainment Center with the Business Center and underground parking, located on a total area of 4.7 hectares, is a unified architectural ensemble of several multi-level buildings with a central three-storied building. The complex was built by specialists from the Ussat subsidiary production unit in accordance with modern engineering and technical developments and using environmentally friendly materials.

The shopping and entertainment center facilities located here with an area of more than 55, 377 square meters were included in the structure of a supermarket with a wide selection of goods and services. Along with numerous shops, as well as playgrounds, cinema halls, a children’s entertainment town with slot machines, a beauty salon, a fitness room, a pharmacy, restaurants and cafes, Toý mekany and other facilities are at their disposal of visitors.

On store shelves, in particular, there are a variety of detergents, shampoos, wet wipes and diapers, effective and safe household chemicals, the production of which has been successfully executed by Turkmen manufacturers. All these and numerous other “household little things” previously had to be imported from abroad. Now they are more attractive in price, environmentally friendly, and also inspire greater confidence among buyers.

On the lateral side of the central building, the Business Center has been built that harmoniously matches the overall design solution. The new 12-storey business complex with a total area of more than 25 thousand square meters successfully combines the achievements of modern architecture and the traditions of national construction. In the evening, the original appearance of the building is emphasized by color lighting; a landscaped green area stretches out in the nearby area.

The offices of the business center, equipped with advanced technological equipment, are located from the 2^nd to 10^th floors. All conditions have been created for holding business meetings and various events. There are shops on the ground and first floors, and on the 11^th and 12^th floor, a technical block and a restaurant respectively.

UIET workers and entrepreneurs have access to open and underground parking lots for 330 and 146 spaces, as well as multi-level parking for 400 spaces. The modern parking lot will render around-the-clock services to the population.

The road and transport infrastructure of Ashgabat today is being intensively modernized, new highways are being laid, existing routes are being reconstructed, overpass bridges, underground and over ground pedestrian crossings are being built. As the head of state notes, due to the intensive motorization of the capital, work to increase the number of parking spaces and their thoughtful location will continue, especially in residential areas and near large shopping centers.

At the end of the commissioning ceremony of the Arkaç Shopping and Entertainment Center, sadaqah “agzaçar” was given, prayers were read for the prosperity of the Turkmen land, the well-being of the native people, for sending health and success in all endeavors to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as well as the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
