A private greenhouse and horticultural farm located in Duzmergen valley in Balkan velayat, managed by Halmammet Amanmammedov, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, contributes to the development of the processing industry and significantly strengthens the economic potential of the velayat.

Currently, the harvest of fruits is ongoing, which will later be sold at affordable prices in local markets and retail outlets.

"Reforms in agriculture open up wide opportunities for domestic entrepreneurs," says Halmammet Amanmammedov. "A few years ago, we received 22 hectares of land for long-term lease for a greenhouse and horticultural farm. In 2016, we planted 5,500 fruit tree seedlings on five hectares, which have been yielding crops for four years. Last year, we harvested 18 tons, and since the beginning of this season, we have already collected 12 tons. By the end of the season, we plan to reach 20 tons."

Judging by the indicators and the focus on achieving set goals, the volumes of products obtained by the farm will only increase in the near future. Additionally, entrepreneurs plan to expand the fruit farm area. Seven hectares of land have already been prepared for grapes and five hectares for other crops.

The cohesive team of H. Amanmammedov is confident in achieving good results, which is already a guarantee of success.
