A single state information web portal, «Single Window for Export-Import Operations» (www.tradebridge.gov.tm), has been created in Turkmenistan. It ensures the availability of the «Single Window for Export-Import Operations» system for participants in foreign economic activity.

The mechanism allows all users to fulfill the requirements for processing export and import operations. At the same time, information about goods or vehicles passing through the customs border is provided to the point of submission only once. 16 ministries and 22 structural divisions of the country's industry departments involved in the «Single Window for Export-Import Operations» system issue electronic licenses, certificates and other permits for goods and vehicles moving across the customs border.

Currently, about 5,000 participants in foreign economic activity are registered in the system, and the number of applications submitted electronically and processed by authorized bodies is more than 20,000. It should be noted that when implementing the «Single Window for Export-Import Operations» system, recommendations and standards of the UN, World Customs and World Trade Organizations were used.
