The Turkmen delegation took part in a training seminar on «Improving cooperation between universities and industry for current and future employment, innovation and sustainable ecosystems», which was held in the first ten days of September at the Tampere University of Applied Sciences (Finland).
The event was organized within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ program by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) together with the SPHERE consortium (Support and Promotion of Higher Education Reform Experts).
At the opening ceremony of the seminar, representatives of the management of Tampere University of Applied Sciences gave a welcoming speech, wishing the participants fruitful and successful work.
As part of the educational seminar, an introductory tour of the textile and virtual business and media laboratories of Tampere University of Applied Sciences took place. Director of the School of Business and Media Dr. Niina Jalinozha led a group discussion on the topic «Education for today's and tomorrow's jobs», after which the participants expressed their opinions on this topic.
On the sidelines of the seminar, such issues as cooperation between Tampere University of Applied Sciences and the private sector, the need for continuous professional development, ecosystem features, pedagogical skills in working life, as well as the development of cooperation between universities and industry were discussed in detail.
It should be noted that Turkmenistan has been an active participant in the EU Erasmus+ program for more than ten years. It is aimed at supporting projects in the field of education, vocational training, personnel training, sports and youth work, creating additional educational and financial opportunities for students, employees of higher education institutions and the universities themselves. The European Union Erasmus+ program is based on more than 25 years of experience and achievements of European programs in the field of education, vocational training and youth.
