On September 18, 2024, at the Presidential Palace in Sofia, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Bulgaria E.Aydogdyev (with the residence in Moscow) presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Georgiev Radev. About this reports MFA of Turkmenistan. 

During the meeting the Ambassador conveyed to the President of the Republic of Bulgaria warm greetings and best wishes from the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

It was also emphasized that the Turkmen side is interested in the further development of friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Bulgaria in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Expressing gratitude for the warm words on behalf of the Leadership of Turkmenistan, the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Georgiev Radev asked, in turn, to convey the most sincere words of greetings to the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people.
