Efficient use of a park of modern specialized equipment ensures a high rate of rice harvesting in the north of the country.

Thanks to the good organization of the work, farmers of the two main producers of this crop in the region — the daikhan associations "S.A. Niyazov" and "27th of October", where most of the grown rice has already been mown from the fields, expect to harvest the entire rich harvest without losses in an acceptable time frame.

All necessary measures have been taken to avoid grain shedding and lodging of rice during overripe periods. 125 high-performance combines «John Deere» and «Claas» are involved in the harvest, sufficient number of vehicles for uninterrupted grain transportation. Specialized agricultural machinery is provided with the necessary technical maintenance. Rice is one of the traditional and important food products for the region. Therefore, special attention is paid to its production here.

In the process of growing crops, farmers of the Dashoguz velayat strive to widely use resource- and water-saving technologies, consistently improve the quality of agricultural activities, including the use of modern seeders for sowing grain, growing early-ripening varieties of pearl grain that are adapted to local climatic conditions and resistant to various diseases, such as the elite varieties "Nöküs-2" and "Bereket".

Thanks to the successful implementation of state programs, a full cycle of rice cultivation has been created in the velayat, starting from the preparation of seed material to the processing of the harvest into finished products at a high-tech rice cleaning plant built in close proximity to rice plantations, capable of supplying the country's consumers with up to 30 thousand tons of high-quality products per year.
