This autumn in the Dashoguz velayat once again successfully completed the annual task of harvesting some types of grain legumes and oilseed crops.

About eleven thousand tons of mung beans were harvested from the fields, with an average yield of fifteen centners per hectare, and over 600 «noyba» beans were collected. At the same time, farmers in the velayat managed to harvest the entire sesame crop without losses and prepare 560 tons of this valuable raw material. More than others, all these types of valuable plants in the region were grown by farmers in the Akdepe, Kunyaurgench, Boldumsaz etraps and the S.Turkmenbashi etrap.

The main factors for their successful production include a responsible approach to the selection of planting material and land areas for crops, timely implementation of the necessary agricultural techniques for their cultivation, and a high level of organization of the harvesting campaign.

In accordance with the tasks of implementing state programs to increase the volume of agricultural production and ensure food abundance in the country, farmers of the Dashoguz velayat aim to improve the culture of agriculture, effectively combining the accumulated experience of cultivation with modern recommendations of our scientists.
