Nokia aims to develop cooperation with Turkmenistan

The stand of the Finnish company Nokia, presented at the "Türkmentel – 2024" International Exhibition of Telecommunications, Telemetry, Information Technology and Broadcasting Equipment in Ashgabat, highlights the modern technologies and products that the company offers today.

Company representative Alexander Begeza noted that Nokia primarily acts as a supplier of infrastructure for cellular networks and telecommunications equipment, providing mobile, fixed, broadband and IP networks.

Continuing to develop its cooperation with Turkmenistan's mobile operator "Altyn Asyr," the company intends to expand its engagement with our country by offering participation in the construction of a backbone communication network.

A backbone network is a transport telecommunications infrastructure for providing communication services and is typically based on fiber-optic technologies and high-speed equipment. Key requirements for such a network include high data transmission speed, reliability and service availability.
