The International Forum "Türkmentel – 2024" successfully concluded in Ashgabat. As per tradition, the finale of the annual forum coincided with the award ceremony for the winners of the "Digital Solution-2024" innovative project contest, organized by the "Türkmenaragatnaşyk" agency to support talented youth in our country.
Representatives from leading educational institutions, relevant ministries and departments presented a significant number of projects in the IT field, covering areas such as software, robotics, healthcare, and other innovative developments.
The projects were evaluated by an expert jury consisting of representatives from the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Industry, and the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. The jury determined winners in seven main categories.
In the "Healthcare" category, first place was awarded to Baynazar Mukhammedov, a student from the Turkmen Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics, for his program using PECS cards for communication with people with special needs.
Shatlyk Shokhradov from the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University won first place in the "Artificial Intelligence" category. His project involved a diagnostic program for seven different diseases.
The best project in the "Robotics and Automation" category was developed by Yazmukhammet Agamyradov from the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University. He presented an innovative 3D printer for ceramics and construction.
Alyosh Amanov from the State Energy Institute won first place in the "Smart Agricultural Technologies" category with his "Smart Ship" project for collecting plastic waste.
In the "Smart City" category, Emir Shammaev, a student from School No. 140, won with a device for generating electricity from pedestrian movement.
First place in the "Education and E-Learning" category was awarded to Arslan Byashimov from the Institute of National Security for his project on studying natural and historical monuments using photogrammetry.
In the "Service Systems" category, Arthur Bakhtiyarov, a student from School No. 129 in Ashgabat, won first place with his social network and messenger project "Tick."
The "Digital Solution-2024" contest, held from October 22 to November 1, 2024, was a vivid example of the high creativity and professionalism of young specialists.
The organization of such events fosters interest in IT technologies in Turkmenistan. This is reflected in the growing number of young people eager to master this rapidly developing field. Educational institutions in the country are increasingly introducing modern courses and programs aimed at training qualified personnel in programming, software development and robotics.
