Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov by noble tradition visited the New Year's show organized at the Main New Year tree of the country.

Located in one of the picturesque corners of white marble coated Ashgabat, "Älem" cultural-entertaining centre annually becomes a venue of the favourite winter holiday of all, which people of Turkmenistan welcome with pleasure and consent.

And today on the square before the Centre, a colourful festivity with participation young Turkmen nationals was arranged. Round the Main New Year tree of the country with a height of 44 metres and width of 16 metres topped with an eight-pointed star with figures 2025 and magic sparkling multi-coloured toys, garlands and small lamps, rather fantastic kingdom was stretched.

All around there is also decorated by light designs and multi-coloured illumination which create the evening effect of soaring in the air with this New Year's ensemble. Besides it, the composition is supplemented with bright arches, artificial light-emitting diode trees and other scenery.

Having got to this fairyland, kids stand still for an instance with admiration, but soon already hasten to explore the small land further. Fine music sounding here invites them into an attractive magic journey.

Children are invited to the holiday at the Main New Year tree from different corners of our fatherland. Among them – excellent schoolchildren, winners of subject Olympiads, sports events, creative competitions and others.

All with impatience and joyful excitement wait for the arrival of the head of the state. Young Turkmen nationals are very proud that President Serdar Berdimuhamedov together with them takes part in the festival.

The car of the head of the state arrives at the celebration venue. Children in elegant costumes with enthusiasm and pleasure welcome the President of Turkmenistan and present bouquets of flowers expressing their love and gratitude for happy childhood. One of the priorities of the state policy of the country is indefatigable care of the younger generation, creation of all conditions for full-fledged development and education of the youth on the basis of national and universal values.

Young citizens express their deep gratitude with verses to the head of the state for that today they can happily live in our independent neutral fatherland, confidently look ahead, and realise their dreams.

To the solemn melody, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov together with children goes to the brilliant evergreen fir tree.

In the atmosphere of magic and mysteriousness the enchanting New Year's show with participation of talented novice vocalists, musicians, and children’s choreographic ensembles starts. Children singing and dancing in a ring round the Main New year tree are full of enthusiasm and pleasure, their eyes and smile sparkle more brightly, than ornaments on branches of the coniferous tree.

“Animated” characters of Turkmen folklore and fairy tales of nations of the world added new colours to this entertainment carnival.

With pleasure and great interest, the President of Turkmenistan watched performances of happy children who are pride and really an invaluable national asset of the country and society. As head of the state Serdar Berdimuhamedov marks, today's talented schoolchildren in the future will bring a weighty contribution to acceleration of social and economic progress of our native land. Numerous competitions, Olympiads, exhibitions of children's works testify to steadfast attention of the state to achievements of children and teenagers. Children have a possibility to display their skill, expand their knowledge and interests.

In Turkmenistan, all conditions for disclosing abilities of the rising generation are created. With these purposes in various regions of the country are erected modern schools equipped with high technologies and preschool institutions, sports and physical training complexes are constructed.

Young Turkmen nationals thanks to the given possibilities actively develop creative thinking, raise their intellectual level, go in for sports, adequately representing our country abroad and winning medals and prizes.

The head of the state joined this traditional New Year's ceremony that embodies friendship, peace, unity and coherence.

New Year's gifts were handed to all children-participants of the celebration. At the desire of children, Arkadagly Hero Serdar was photographed with young Turkmen nationals at the Main New Year tree of the country for long memory of today's joyful event.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, saying goodbye to children, wished them happy New Year, excellent winter holiday and successes in their study, fulfilment of treasured desires.

Then, the head of the state gets into his car and heads towards the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry where the festive marathon proceeds with the New Year's show with participation of children's groups as well as performers of variety shows, theatres and circus.

Arkadagly Hero Serdar passes into the big hall of the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, elegantly decorated with the bright scenery and New Year's attributes - sparks, freakish spheres, garlands, snowflakes. Here the beautiful fir tree round which in joyful expectation of the New Year's fairy tale Ayaz baba and Garpamyk, the symbol of 2025 - Snake, and numerous young residents of Ashgabat in carnival costumes and guests of the capital gathered, was installed. All of them joyfully welcomed the head of the state.

Members of the Government whom, like Arkadagly Hero Serdar, joined the New Year show of children with their children and grandchildren. In the New Year's celebration, heads of missions, consular establishments of our country in foreign countries and heads of diplomatic representatives accredited in Turkmenistan took part together with their children.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov with great pleasure watches performances of variety performers, actors of theatres and circus, folklore and dancing groups, children's creative collectives and talented children of different ages, beginning with children of kindergartens.

On the festively decorated stage a grandiose show with cheerful music, songs, incendiary dances that have become a dedication to the New Year was developed.

Children's chorus «Güneş», violinists’ group «Mukam», dancing groups «Ruhubelent çagalar», «Şowhun», «Aýjan», «Dokmaçylar», «Galkynyş» presented their creative gifts. Young talents subdued public with their charm.

Then, granddaughter of National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag Ajeren recited a poem and displayed her skill of playing the piano. Participants of the event met the performance of Ajeren with noisy applause.

Separate soloists, winners of many state competitions and international creative festivals also displayed their skill. They prepared a special program for the New Year's festival, including songs of nations of the world and modern Turkmen composers and poets, classical products, choreographic compositions on folklore motives.

With noisy applause spectators of characters of the Turkmen state puppet theatre, were welcomed and they presented them with joyful mood. Actors of the Turkmen state circus evoked surprise and admiration of dexterity and talent.

Young talents with all persuasiveness demonstrated that the future of Turkmen art, culture is in reliable hands. Educated according to national traditions, deriving from them inspiration and fresh ideas, they also are sensitively susceptible to world cultural values, are open for all the new and interesting.

On the occasion of the New year, participants of the festive event were presented with the pie.

The head of the state, having congratulated the gathered with the forthcoming holiday, said goodbye and left the event.

Streets, squares, parks, squares of the white marble-coated capital also try on themselves magnificent New Year's costumes. The atmosphere of the present fairy tale everywhere reigns, illuminations, sparkling ornaments and various art objects, which have colourfully changed the city with LED compositions.

So, festive events come into the finale to visit every house and every family on the forthcoming New Year's eve, involving all in this bright whirl of fun giving belief in miracles.

Independent neutral Turkmenistan, entering 2025, visually shows unity of people, support of the rising generation to the policy of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov under the leadership of whom in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state successes and achievements of our native fatherland are multiplied.
