Since the first days of independence, Turkmenistan has firmly adhered to the policy of good-neighbourly relations, actively engaged in a constructive dialogue with the states of Central Asia. This can be confirmed by visits to the countries of the region, including friendly and fraternal Kazakhstan. At each of these meetings, the heads of state review the state and prospects of Turkmen-Kazakh relations, discuss priority areas for further development of cooperation in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres.

This year, silkworm growers in the western part of the country plan to produce 50 tons of silkworms and hand them over to the state.
