Minister of Finances and Economy of Turkmenistan M. Serdarov took part in online collegial discussion of the heads of Central banks and ministries of finances of Central Asia and Caucasus countries under spring session of International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. Video conference was organized by the Middle East and Central Asia Department of the International Monetary Fund.

Turkmenbashy Refinery Complex exercises a tender on production of Jet A-1 fuel

Turkmenbashy Refinery Complex is planning to start the production of Jet A-1 fuel. This is European analogue pf TC-1 fuel made by the facility. Jet A-1 fuel is designated for gas turbine engines of European and North American aircrafts. It is included to international documents and operation manuals of Airbus and Boeing aircrafts.

Global economic processes: trends and forecasts

With the beginning of mass vaccination against COVID-19in the world, international organizations that regularly publish reviews of the global economy predict its growth. In January this year, the International Monetary Fund projected the global economy is to grow 5.5 percent in 2021. The 2021 forecast is revised up 0.3 percentage point relative to the previous forecast, reflecting expectations of a vaccine-powered strengthening of activity later in the year and additional policy support in a few large economies. For countries with developing economies, the forecast for 2021 has been improved to 6.3% (+ 0.3%).

Derýaplastik Business entity starts production of electrical water boilers

Derýaplastik Business entity has started production of electrical water boilers. Facility for production of 400,000 water boilers for houses has been put into operation in Kaahka district, Ahal Region. More than 40 units of high-technological equipment have been installed in production workshops.
