World Breastfeeding Week kicks off

World Breastfeeding Week is held from 1 to 7 August at the initiative of the World Health Organization. The reason for its establishment was the adoption in 1990 of the Innochetiya Declaration of WHO and UNICEF, aimed at the protection, promotion and support of breastfeeding.

Welcome back to school fair!

In accordance with the tradition, school fairs opened in the Turkmen capital and regions of the country. In general, 410 retail units have been opened in Turkmenistan. Of them 55 units - in Ashgabat, 48 - in Ahal velayat, 41 - in Balkan velayat, 79 - in Lebap velayat, 134 – in Mary velayat, 53 - in the northern region of the country, Dashoguz velayat.

United Nations Development Program invites young developers to the hackathon

Preparations are underway for the UN Food Systems Summit 2021

The 2021 Food Systems Summit Preliminary Meeting in Rome on July 26-28 was an important milestone in preparations for the culminating international event in September, which will be timed to coincide with the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Investing in the agricultural sector is the key to ending hunger, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) head Qu Dongyu said on Wednesday at the closing ceremony.
