In the capital's exhibition center is opened a personal exhibition of works by Berdysahet Kurbansahetov, dedicated to the artist's 60th birthday. His name as the author of a number of works devoted to marine themes is well known to connoisseurs of painting.
Berdysahet successfully manages to portray the marine elements reliably - the greenish waves that smell of algae, crashing to the rocky banks, and the whitish foam bordering their crests. Berdysahet likes the boiling, restless sea more; it is interesting to the artist for its unpredictable disposition.
Acquaintance with the canvasses of Berdysahet about the sea formed the image of their author - as a man born on the shore of the Caspian Sea and a soul with him, or a traveler, or maybe a captain of deep voyage. In an interview, the jubilee told that he was born in the Mary city. Since childhood, he liked to draw. At the end of the eight-year period, he came to Ashgabat to enter the Turkmen State Art College. However, the young man did not know that the entrance exams here start a month earlier than in the other educational institutions, and he was late. Berdysahet remained faithful to the dream and the following year, despite a big contest, he became a student of the "wall painting" department.
At the end of the school, Berdysahet Kurbansahetov was sent to Bekdash, where he saw the Caspian. The sea was stunning with its immensity, intoxicating with freshness, and the beginning artist spent all free time at the easel, trying to achieve transparency of the water on the canvas. These were happy years, swabs lay gently, and the sea surface on his canvases looked palpable. The most important thing the artist managed to understand the nature of the sea and convey the dynamics of the wave.
The artist has many pictures of the sea. This genre brought fame to Berdysahet Kurbansahetov. The jubilee exhibition presents the entire creative palette of the master. Laconic piercing impresses the canvases devoted to the nature of the Karakum. The protagonist of the picture "Hunting" is an inveterate hunter, accompanied by a faithful horse, a sharp falcon and a sharp basin. The painter imprinted the prologue of the hunt: the Akhal-Teke, the falcon and the pelvis froze in suspense ... The picture "Completion of the hunt" continues with the theme, on which the falcon, widely spreading its wings, overtakes the prey.

In several pictures there are lizards (zemzens - in Turkmen). They clumsily move around in search of food, leaving traces of pigtail on the sand.
There is a scorpion in the picture of Berdysahet Kurbansahetov, which he met during the hunt. Usually scorpions lead a nocturnal life, but something, apparently, bothered him, since he left his refuge and went out during the daytime.
