Celebration event has been organized by the Central Council of Women Association, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Communication. The women from all velayats who achieved great success in work, education and social work have been invited to the event.
Representatives of the Government of the country, various ministries and departments, non-governmental organizations, diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in our country, mass media and art intelligentsia and for sure the main heroes – our fellow women from all parts of the country who on occasion of the Women’s day were conferred with honoured title “Ene Myahri” by the Order of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the event.
Warm wishes and congratulations on International Women’s Day, sincere light and embellished feelings confessions, words of deep gratitude for maternal care and tender have been addressed to the women.
The speeches of the participants of the event including the representatives of diplomatic corps accredited in our country have highlighted the growing role of women in life of modern Turkmen State and society. Special attention has been paid to the women policy of Turkmenistan, whose rights are provided and protected by the Constitution of the country and relative documents of national legislation as well as the programmes related to the education and health protection of women, their social status realized in the country.
Musical compositions dedicated to women have been performed from the stage by opera and popular singers. Touching congratulations filled with warmth and love of mothers have been made by young participants of the concert.
The image of woman in national art has always been and remains to be the central one expressing the attitude to the peace and source of inspiration, poets, musicians and artists of Turkmen people and entire East have left glorious tradition of deep respect of woman – mother, kind and tender feelings to sisters and brides and wise lessons to the descendants.
Throughout the history, the women keep the comfort of home hearth, keep the harmony of family relations, bring up the children and inspire for the glorious deeds and work achievements. All celebration performances have been devoted to our heroes who embody beautiful features of Turkmen nation – diligence, generous spirit, selflessness and service to native people.
The policy successfully realized by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is directed in the way so the women were not limited by the status of the home hearth keepers but join social, political and economic life of the country, occupy their positions in entrepreneurship sphere under new social and economic conditions. High educational and professional level, initiative and enterprise became integral features of our modern women. Their role in social transformation, realization of progressive reforms, assertion of democratic principles, healthy life style, protection and development of cultural traditions in the society is priceless.
Today, Turkmenistan moves forward with the confidence along the way of reforms and integration to the world community and such movement cannot be productive without well-thought social and gender policy, without equal rights and opportunities. In this context, the protection and state provision of legal interests and rights of women become one of the important conditions and prepositions for sustainable development of society.
Give high appraisal to spiritual, intellectual and moral potential of our women, the Head of the State always mentions their merits, active civic positions and role with deep respect, invariably highlighting that women of Turkmenistan are the pride and glory of the country.
