A ceremonial presentation of the new book by the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, “The Neutrality of Turkmenistan — A Bright Way of Peace and Trust”, was held at the Center of Public Organizations. This significant socio-political event reflects the country’s high international standing and the consistent implementation of its policy aimed at strengthening universal security and trust.
The new work by the Head of State, consisting of nine chapters, is intended to expand public understanding of the importance of the neutral status, which is inseparably linked to the humanitarian principles upheld by the Turkmen people. Special attention is devoted to the milestones in the formation of Turkmenistan’s neutrality and to the significance of our country's legal status.

Over the past 30 years, Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality has achieved unique progress and has become an important instrument for ensuring regional and global stability.
The concluding section of the book, “The International Year of Peace and Trust: Historic Documents, Congratulations, and Address”, places special emphasis on the relationships our country has established during the years of neutrality, the speeches delivered by the President of Turkmenistan at international forums, as well as international agreements concluded on a bilateral and multilateral basis.

Published to high printing standards, the book is available to the general public in three languages—Turkmen, English, and Russian. The release of the new book by the President of Turkmenistan has become a wonderful gift to the Turkmen people on the eve of such a significant date.
