Speaking at the International forum in Ashgabat dedicated to the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality of the country, National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov called on the distinguished audience of forum to use the media exclusively for constructive purposes.
«Information dialogue also plays a crucial role in establishing respectful and constructive interstate relations. We view it as an important component of our Peace and Trust initiative, as well as the global framework proposed by Turkmenistan several years ago: Dialogue as a guarantee of peace. The media must be used exclusively for constructive purposes», – stated Hero-Arkadag.
In this context, the National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasised the particular need to establish a reliable barrier against cybercrime and the dissemination of biased materials in the media space.
