The leadership of Turkmenistan in promoting a systems approach to international relations has been recognised

High-level representatives of the International forum on peace and trust held in Ashgabat – heads of state and government – recognised the leadership of Turkmenistan in consistently promoting a systemic approach to international relations. This is stated in the Ashgabat declaration adopted following the conference.

«We recognise the leadership of Turkmenistan, which, through a policy of permanent neutrality, consistently promotes a systemic approach to international relations based on dialogue, peace, and trust, initiating and implementing global campaigns within the framework of the International year of dialogue as a guarantee of peace, 2023, and the International years of peace and trust, which serve as a practical model for confidence-building measures», – the international document proclaims.

The honorary delegates of forum confirmed that the noted multidimensional approach, guided by the principle of equal and indivisible security, contributes not only to political stability, but also to social, economic, environmental, and humanitarian sustainability, thereby strengthening a global culture of peace.

An international forum dedicated to the International year of peace and trust, International neutrality day, and the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan was held in Ashgabat on the 12th of December. It was attended by the presidents of Armenia, Iraq, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan, as well as the prime ministers of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Pakistan, and several other countries.
