The International Year of Peace and Trust, marked by the broad celebration of the glorious 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of the Fatherland, is entering the history of the country as a bright page. Every day of the outgoing landmark year has been filled with festivities and impressive events.

In these pre-New Year days, festive events on a grand scale are taking place in all corners of Balkan velayat, located in the west of the country. They reflect the large-scale achievements of the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, the well-being of the Turkmen people, and the bright joy of the New Year.

A vivid event, filled with deep meaning and a special atmosphere, was the celebration held in the building of “Türkmeniň ak öýi” in the city of Balkanabat. This musical and song-filled celebration was organized jointly by the khakimlik of Balkan velayat, the velayat Department of Culture, the velayat branch of the Union of Women of Turkmenistan, and other public organizations. The event brought together, around a festive dastarkhan—a symbol of abundance—guests from the cities and etraps of the region, respected elders, student youth, and local residents.

During the celebration, warm congratulations were extended on the occasion of the upcoming New Year, 2026, which will be held in our country under the motto “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses.” The high milestones and successes achieved in the International Year of Peace and Trust thanks to the tireless efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, as well as President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, were highlighted. Speakers shared joyful impressions of the glorious events held in honor of the 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of the Fatherland, which attracted the attention of the world community, emphasizing that this evokes a sense of pride among the citizens of Turkmenistan.

Performed by cultural figures and masters of the arts, as well as young artists, were music and songs dedicated to the great achievements of the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, the International Year of Peace and Trust, the New Year, friendship, and brotherhood. Songs and dances by children’s groups, as well as literary and musical compositions by creative ensembles of the velayat, were met with thunderous applause.
