Significant successes are being achieved in the agricultural sector and the sphere of entrepreneurship thanks to the reforms being implemented under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, aimed at bringing our Motherland into the ranks of the world’s developed countries and steadily increasing the well-being of the people. In 2026, whose motto is “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses,” large-scale work in this direction continues in Balkan velayat.

A vivid example of successful activity is demonstrated by the production indicators of the poultry complex of the dayhan farm “Nurly meýdan,” located in Bereket etrap of Balkan velayat. This poultry complex, which is a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, has established the production of competitive and environmentally friendly products that are in high demand among consumers.

The production capacities of this leading dayhan farm, covering an area of 50 hectares, include a chicken meat production facility with an annual capacity of 8,000 tons, an incubator for hatching 12 million chicks, as well as a poultry complex producing 16 million eggs. All necessary conditions for proper keeping and breeding of poultry have been created here. It should be noted that several years ago the dayhan farm “Nurly meýdan” was the first in the country to implement such a project by launching a poultry factory with an incubator and using advanced technologies tested in modern poultry farming. In addition, the complex carried out poultry farming activities under the “Enelik towuk” project.

Here, broiler chicks are raised within just 40–45 days, each reaching a weight of several kilograms. After attaining the required weight, the poultry is sent to the meat-processing workshop, where most of the processes are automated. The finished products are delivered to consumers in convenient and aesthetically pleasing packaging.

Work is also well organized in the egg production workshop, where 50,000 laying hens are kept. The farm’s specialists welcomed the New Year with labor achievements, exceeding production plans for eggs and chicken meat.

It is worth noting that the feed for laying hens differs in nutritional and energy value, which positively affects their productivity and the quality of the eggs produced. Nutritious and beneficial compound feed for poultry growth is produced at advanced enterprises of the dayhan farm, whose annual production capacity is also designed to produce 72,000 tons of feed.

It should be emphasized that hygiene rules are strictly observed in all departments, and special attention is paid to cleanliness and air humidity.

It is also encouraging that this leading branch of agriculture has accumulated great potential for the comprehensive development of poultry farming. This contributes to reducing the cost of high-quality products and, as a result, supplying the consumer market with these food products at affordable prices.

In the near future, “Nurly meýdan” plans to increase its production capacities. Last year, production buildings of poultry complexes near the cities of the Turkmenabat and Balkanabat, belonging to the consumer societies’ unions of Lebap and Balkan velayats of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, were leased. At present, work at these facilities is organized at a high level, and significant results are being achieved in production while strictly observing hygiene standards and veterinary requirements.

Thus, the conditions and opportunities created by the state for the development of the agro-industrial complex and the private sector of the country are reflected in the labor achievements of the poultry complex of the dayhan farm “Nurly meýdan.” For this, the entrepreneurs express their sincere gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and Arkadagly Hero Serdar.
