During the winter school holidays, festive celebrations continue on the square in front of the “Älem” Cultural and Entertainment Center. Happy children are having a great time at themed stands and near the main symbol of 2026 — the steed.
Equally colorful decorations adorn the square near the State Circus of Turkmenistan. Fairy-tale characters and an entertainment area with swings give visitors positive emotions and a cheerful mood. After their walks, children attend New Year’s circus performances featuring Ayaz Baba, Garpamyk, and trained animals.

On January 10 at 17:00, the cinema will host a screening of the 2025 Russian fairy-tale film “Alice in Wonderland”, directed by Yuri Khmelnitsky. This modern screen adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s work, starring Anna Peresild, Milos Bikovich, Oleg Savostyuk, and Irina Gorbacheva, promises to bring a wealth of positive emotions.
On January 10 at 19:00, a screening of the Russian comedy film “Cheburashka 2” will take place. The film was released nationwide on January 1, 2026.
Fans of classical art are invited to the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan.
On January 9 at 19:00, the State Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Resul Gylyjov will present the concert program New Year’s Sparkle. As part of the musical evening, works of world classical music will be performed, creating a festive atmosphere and allowing listeners to enjoy the virtuoso performance of orchestral instruments.
