One of the central topics of the Cabinet of Ministers meeting chaired by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the digital system was preparations for the upcoming UN Special Programme for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA) Week.

Deputy-prime H. Geldimyradov reported on the preparations for this large-scale event. The program of the Week includes an Economic forum, working group meetings, and a number of meetings.

Participants plan to focus on key areas such as strengthening ties in the economic, energy, and water sectors, environmental protection and the climate agenda, improving the efficiency of transport connectivity, and developing digital trade and economic corridors based on UN standards.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised that strategic partnership with the UN remains an unconditional priority of foreign policy of the country. The head of state approved the proposals presented and ordered that the events be organised at a high level.
