On the eve of the widely celebrated Defenders of the Fatherland Day in our country, a ceremonial event titled “Gaýratly ogullar Watanyň daýanjydyr!” (“Brave sons are the mainstay of the Fatherland”) was held at the State Library of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan.

The speakers emphasized that throughout history the Turkmen people have held warriors in the highest esteem for their fearlessness, patriotism, and sense of justice. Our ancestors succeeded in instilling these noble qualities in the consciousness of future generations through their heroic life paths, worthy examples, and wise guidance. For this very reason, both in the past and today, service to the Fatherland is rightfully regarded as the embodiment of courage and valor.

During the celebration, the participants wished good health, long life, and success in all state endeavors to the Hero-Arkadag and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who place above all else the sanctity of the Motherland and the defense of our blessed land.
