National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting dedicated to the implementation of the second stage of the «smart city» development. The focus was on large-scale construction of social and cultural facilities and the integration of advanced technologies.

As part of the second phase, in accordance with the Decrees of the President of Turkmenistan, more than 220 facilities for various purposes are being constructed.

Among them – modern 5-, 7- and 9-story buildings with an increased level of comfort, kindergartens and comprehensive schools designed according to international standards, as well as industrial facilities to provide employment and develop infrastructure.

Hero-Arkadag emphasised key aspects, which stipulate that all work must comply with the socioeconomic development Program of the country for 2022–2028 and international standards. It was also emphasised that the digital systems being implemented should be as convenient and understandable as possible for residents, ensuring a modern level of service in all city buildings.
