An exhibition of humorous works of Atajan Ashirov opens in the Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan by tradition by the Day of Laughter. Artists and lovers of art are in a hurry to the museum to smile again at the merry creativity of the famous cartoonist.
This year, the exhibition of Ashirov took the foyer of the museum and is thematically divided into many sections. Athletes, musicians, melon growers, lovers and couples, children and parents got into the focus of the humorous talent of the artist, whose work brings to our lives sparkling notes of laugh.
For example, the hero of one of his drawings is a young man, who makes proposal of marriage. The girl is in the seventh heaven but a few years passed ... and the big heart of the middle-aged man is a tough row to hoe.
There is another comic book on the theme of family life: a man - making proposal of marriage, presents bouquet of flowers, a few years later - a salary, many years later - a pension...
Humor of Atajan Ashirov is kind, and, viewing his works, everybody smiles... The fifty-one years of work on television, publications in humorous magazines and prizes of prestigious international competitions is behind him.
- Wherever I am - in the bus, car, at work - everywhere I find funny stories, - says Atajan Ashirov. - Sometimes the dreams suggest the ideas of new works. For example, in the daytime, I noticed how trolley bus moves, and at night asleep, I saw a motorcycle working on the same principle.
Atajan Ashiroff incarnates in caricatures even the incidents associated with unexpected items appearance instead of the usual ones. For example, someone opens a can of preserved fish, and there ... a fish hook. The painting is called - "Fish revenge."
The man cut a honey-sweet melon, and ... old man Hottabych flew out. However, the dynasty of the Gujakists - the grandson, the father, the grandfather and great-grandfather - play with one bow each on his gidzhak. Someone from the visitors might think: "This do not happen in real life". Of course, it does not happen, but try to embody what is not in reality, and with such emotionally expressive intonations!

His granddaughter Leyli is among the admirers of Atajan Ashirov's talent. "I really like grandfather's work, I also like to draw comics and I will definitely continue his work.
