Today, in various corners of our independent Motherland, the number of educational institutions housed in newly constructed buildings and facilities equipped with modern technologies is steadily increasing. A vivid example of this is the complex of buildings of the Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute, one of the country’s oldest higher education institutions, located in Turkmenabat.
In accordance with a decree of the esteemed President of Turkmenistan, the construction of a new academic building designed to accommodate five thousand students for this higher education institution is being carried out by the economic society “Nahal”. The completion of construction and commissioning of the new facility are scheduled for September of this year. The modern educational complex is situated on a site covering approximately 26 hectares.
Within the complex, whose architectural appearance harmoniously combines global and national traditions, all conditions are being created for students to master the achievements of modern science, enjoy cultural leisure, and engage in sports. The complex includes an administrative and academic building with assembly halls seating 700 and 200 people, two academic buildings for faculties, a 12-apartment residential building for faculty members, five student dormitories with a total capacity of 2,000 residents, a canteen seating 1,000 people, a library with 700 seats, a stadium seating 500 spectators, a sports hall and three outdoor sports grounds, as well as parking facilities for 200 vehicles.
The project also includes auxiliary, technical, and service buildings. At present, the main construction works have been completed, and interior finishing and facade cladding of the buildings are underway.
In the near future, all buildings of the complex are scheduled to be prepared for the installation of furniture, advanced technologies, and equipment imported from the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Germany, China, Italy, Türkiye, and other countries around the world. The surrounding area is being actively landscaped: saplings planted along green alleys adjacent to the residential complex are already transforming the landscape.
A source of pride is also the fact that the new modern complex will harmoniously blend with the nearby “Türkmeniň ak öýi” building, the “Lebap” shopping and entertainment center, the multifunctional sports complex, the “Ruhyýet” Palace, and the “Bagt köşgi” Wedding Palace, all located in the same district.
The ceremonial opening and commissioning of the new modern complex of buildings of the Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute will take place on September 1, the “Day of Knowledge and Student Youth.”
