Today, in the successful wintering of livestock carried out by livestock breeders of Dashoguz velayat, an important role is played by the availability of a sufficient amount of harvested feed, the reserves of which now provide the animals with the necessary nutrients. It should be noted that the feed base, taking into account the weather and climatic conditions of the region, always plays an important role for local livestock production. The safety of productivity and the health of livestock during stable maintenance depends on it. The availability of an adequate supply of feed also ensures the safety of animals and their reproduction.

Realising this, farmers of the velayat annually take special responsibility for harvesting stocks of hay, coarse and concentrated feeds and their timely delivery to the stable areas.
