The international seminar «high-level Dialogue on global health diplomacy» is being held at the «Yyldyz» hotel in the capital. The holding of such a large-scale forum was further confirmation of the success of constructive foreign policy of Turkmenistan, built on the principles of positive neutrality and humanism.
The meeting aims to create an effective platform for consolidating the efforts of the global community in addressing global challenges. In this context, the role of Turkmenistan, whose initiatives to develop medical diplomacy are an important factor in ensuring peace and sustainable development, is particularly significant.
On the side-lines of the event, a guest from Russia — MGIMO vice-rector, associate professor of the department of diplomacy, professor Vladimir Morozov — shared with a «GA» correspondent his vision of approach of Turkmenistan to medical diplomacy and emphasised the importance of neutral status of the country.

«Turkmenistan is skilfully and effectively positioning itself on the global stage, becoming a decision-making centre. Organising major international events at Ashgabat venues strengthens the image of state. The discussion of healthcare issues within this dialogue demonstrates that Turkmenistan is not only participating in global processes but also making a significant contribution to the development of solutions that are significant for all of humanity», − the professor noted.
V. Morozov congratulated the country on the significant 30th anniversary of neutrality, and diplomatic sector employees of the country on their professional holiday. The interlocutor of editorial staff particularly emphasised the humanitarian mission of neutrality in modern geopolitics.
«The status of neutrality is extremely important in the modern world, where, unfortunately, conflicts and crises occur. For Turkmenistan, this is a prestigious status for a country that, in the best sense, promotes the ideals of peace, stability, and mutual understanding. The principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of other states creates an exclusively positive image of the country. We have always supported neutrality of Turkmenistan and expect that Ashgabat will continue to serve as an authoritative platform for peace negotiations», − said V. Morozov.
At the end of the conversation, the MGIMO vice-rector addressed warm wishes to the students of the Institute of international relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan.
«I wish future diplomats to master the profession thoroughly. Every state exists in both a global and regional context, so it is necessary to deeply understand global processes and to learn about and respect the cultures and traditions of other peoples. This is an algorithm for transforming the world for the better. I wish the students great success in their studies, so that in the future they will represent their homeland with dignity at the international level», − concluded the Russian guest.
