A solemn welcoming ceremony for the world-famous «Galkynyş» national equestrian games Group took place in Daşoguz velayat.
Today, in accordance with the Program of events in the field of horse breeding and equestrian sports, approved by the President of the country in honour of the 2026 motto «Independent neutral Turkmenistan – the homeland of purposeful winged horses», and on the occasion of the presentation of international certificates of the World circus federation and the European circus association to the National equestrian games Group «Galkynyş» in Monte Carlo (Principality of Monaco) for their great contribution to circus arts, a large-scale celebration entitled «Toýnak sesiň toý dabara at-myradyň mekanynda» was held in the city of Daşoguz. This event, which recently began in the Balkan velayat and continued in Dashoguz, became the next stage of celebratory tour of the celebrated group across the velayats of the country.
The celebration in the northern region of the country began in the centre of Dashoguz. At the «Gorogly» square, participants of the «Galkynyş» national equestrian games group watched the theatrical musical and song performance «Gyratym» performed by the creative team of the State musical and drama theatre of the Dashoguz velayat named after N. Andalyp and the united dance ensemble of the velayat «Dessan».
Then, in the square in front of the Dashoguz velayat museum of History and local lore, the guests enjoyed performances of the bagshy-destanchy and the «kushtdepdi» dance performed by the «Dessan» dance group. After the speeches, the participants of the celebration were introduced to the exhibition of the museum of History and local history.
Next, the guests proceeded to the «Türkmeniň ak öýi» building. Here the Group members were greeted with inspiring songs and music. A theatrical musical and song performance unfolded before the guests, glorifying the «heavenly» horses – the priceless legacy of our ancestors.
At the entrance to the «Türkmeniň ak öýi» building, the participants of the celebration watched the performance of the bagshy ensemble of the Specialised School of Arts named after Magtymguly Garlyyev and got acquainted with the organised exhibition.
A special place in the exhibition was occupied by the Grand-prix and special awards won by the «Galkynyş» national equestrian games Group of the Ahal-Teke equestrian complex of the President of Turkmenistan at the 47th International festival of circus arts in Monte Carlo (Monaco) in 2025, as well as other awards and prizes of the team.
Following speeches that emphasised the enormous attention paid at the state level to Ahal-Teke horses, efforts to enhance their global fame, the study of breeding activities, and the creation of conditions for improving the skills of riders, the participants of the ceremony adopted an appeal to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The performances presented by the artists were dedicated to the motto of 2026, «Independent neutral Turkmenistan – the homeland of purposeful winged horses», as well as to the Ahal-Teke horses, unrivaled in beauty and grace.
The subsequent demonstration performances by the «Galkynyş» national equestrian games Group provided the spectators with an unforgettable experience.

The final chord of the celebration was the song «Arkadagly Gahryman Serdarymyz», which evoked feelings of patriotism and inspiration in the hearts of those gathered.
In the building of «Türkmeniň ak öýi» on the occasion of the current event, a festive sadaka was given during the breaking of the fast. This became further confirmation of the comprehensive approach to organising important events in the life of the country and its people and developing national principles in the spirit of the modern epoch.
