Turkmen youth will go to study at universities in Romania in the 2026–2027 academic year

As part of its state policy to train highly qualified personnel, Turkmenistan is expanding educational cooperation with Romania. At a digital Cabinet of Ministers meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved a proposal to send Turkmen youth to study at the leading higher education institutions of the country for the upcoming academic year.

To train specialists in demand in the national economy, the following areas have been selected: information technology, healthcare and medical sciences, engineering, technology and technical sciences, mathematics, natural sciences and pedagogy, agriculture and agricultural sciences.

The head of state emphasised that the country is creating broad opportunities for young people to gain knowledge at prestigious foreign universities, which helps provide sectors of the economy with highly qualified specialists. In this regard, the head of state addressed the corresponding instructions to deputy-prime B. Mammedov.
