Entrepreneurship development was one of the topics discussed at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting chaired by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the digital system.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers N.Atagulyyev reported on preparations for two major events: an exhibition dedicated to the 18th anniversary of the Union of industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), and the International forum «Investments in the future of Turkmenistan».
To date, approximately 70 foreign companies and international organisations have confirmed their participation in the events. Registration of participants continues, which underlines the high interest of foreign businesses in the investment potential of our country.
From the Turkmen side, the forum will be attended by heads of relevant ministries and industry departments, as well as members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (UIET).
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised that supporting the private sector and improving the business environment are strategically important tasks. The head of state instructed that a high level of organization be ensured for the upcoming events, which are intended to showcase the successes of domestic entrepreneurs and attract new investment.
