The main exhibits of the exhibition, held at the Dashoguz velayat Museum of Local Lore, were the works of pupils and teachers of the Dashoguz children's art school, which depict Ahal-teke horses unsurpassed in beauty and grace.

Previously, these oil and watercolour paintings and drawings, as well as carpet tapestries, took part in the «Gadamy batly bedewler» competition, which was held by the Dashoguz city committee of the Democratic party and the Dashoguz city council of the Youth organisation named after Magtymguly and is dedicated to the motto of 2026 «Independent neutral Turkmenistan – the homeland of purposeful winged horses».

The works are dominated by images of beautiful horses, which are the pride and heritage of the Turkmen people. Ahal-teke horses are depicted against the background of historical monuments and picturesque nature, during competitions and celebrations, in urban and rural environments. The works of art school teachers C. Kabeyeva and N. Meredova are striking in their subtlety and refinement of tone; successful composition, a unique plot line, and a rich colour scheme distinguish the paintings of students R. Matyusupova, K. Babahanova, N. Pirmetova, G. Uzakberdiyeva, and others. The participants of the contest managed to fully reflect the role of Ahal-Teke horses in the history and modern life of the Turkmen people by means of fine art, to convey their strength, grace and friendly disposition.

It should be noted that students of children's art schools actively participate in the social and cultural life of the region. Their brilliantly executed works are often exhibited at various exhibitions.
