Young people of Turkmenistan invited to a unique tour of India

From March 24 to April 2, 2026, the Embassy of India in Ashgabat is organizing a familiarization visit to India for a youth delegation from Central Asia.

Talented young people from Turkmenistan aged 15 to 29 who have achievements in their studies or professional careers have a unique opportunity to become part of this delegation.

To participate in the program, applicants must send their CV and a copy of their passport to the representative office at com.ashgabat@mea.gov.in by March 5, 2026.

The organizers will fully cover the costs of international airfare, accommodation, meals, and transportation within the country.

India is rightfully considered the cradle of some of the world’s oldest civilizations and a country with an incredibly rich culture, where centuries-old traditions harmoniously blend with the rhythm of modern life. Immersion in a multinational environment will provide participants with the opportunity to apply their knowledge of English in practice and to experience the region’s unique national characteristics firsthand.

Participants in the program will be able to exchange experiences with peers from Central Asian countries, discuss shared values, and broaden both their professional and personal horizons.

The initiative to organize regular youth exchanges was officially approved in 2022 at the Summit of the Heads of State of Central Asia and India. Its launch reflected the leaders’ commitment to strengthening direct dialogue between the younger generations of the Asian regions. The project serves as a reliable instrument of people-to-people diplomacy, helping young people better understand the historical ties between nations and build a shared future based on friendship and mutual respect.
