President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan via the digital system, during which the results of the national economy’s performance for January–February of the current year were reviewed, demonstrating the country’s stable growth dynamics.
As the head of state emphasized, according to the results of the first two months, Turkmenistan continues to maintain high macroeconomic indicators. In particular, the GDP growth rate reached 6.3 percent.
Highlighting the priority areas of development, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that significant funds are being allocated for the modernization of existing capacities and the construction of new high-tech enterprises. Effective work is also being carried out in the oil and gas sector, as well as in the fields of transport, communications, and trade, while the reform of the systems of science, education, healthcare, and culture continues successfully.
At the same time, the country is actively continuing the construction of residential buildings, educational institutions, kindergartens, and industrial facilities. The head of state instructed the heads of departments to ensure the effective implementation of all adopted programs aimed at addressing the tasks facing the state.
At the conclusion of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov touched upon the topic of the upcoming holiday. The head of state warmly congratulated the mothers, women, and girls of the country on International Women's Day.
