Today, the Chamber of commerce and industry hosted a song and music celebration in honour of International women's day.
Representatives of leadership, ministries and departments, and the media of the country took part in it. Among the guests of honour are mothers of many children, activists of public organisations, cultural figures, workers from various industries, as well as employees of diplomatic missions of foreign states and international organisations accredited in our country.

In the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state in Turkmenistan, the veneration of women is based on ancient traditions inherited from ancestors. Thanks to the noble initiatives of Hero-Arkadag, successfully implemented under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, our compatriots are surrounded by comprehensive state care. Protecting the interests of families, motherhood, and childhood, as well as creating conditions for creative work and full rest of women are defined as key priorities of policy of the country. As noted in the celebratory address of the President to all compatriots, our mothers and women, whose lips are filled with prayers and good wishes, make a significant contribution to strengthening the individual's ties to family, society, and the state, preserving centuries-old family values, and play a key role in raising the younger generation − the pillars of our homeland − in a spirit of high patriotism and national pride. In our blessed Fatherland, reverence and respect for girls, daughters-in-law and dear mothers, as delicate as flowers, is very high.

Currently, Turkmen women are not only guardians of the family hearth, but also successfully work in government bodies, various sectors of the economy and engage in entrepreneurial activities, making a worthy contribution to the socio-economic development of the country. By actively participating in the political life of the State, they play a special role in the life of society. The national legal system of Turkmenistan includes strong guarantees for ensuring equal rights for men and women. The Basic Law of the country recognises the equality of rights and freedoms of all citizens. The Law of Turkmenistan «On State guarantees of ensuring equal rights and equal opportunities for women and men» has become a fundamental tool for ensuring gender equality in all spheres of life. This is a clear indication that the country is guided by the principles of democracy and equality in all areas of public life.
Within the framework of the international dialogue, Turkmenistan actively cooperates with specialised UN structures on the women's agenda, consistently implementing the provisions of relevant global conventions. In our country, honouring the dignity of women and ensuring their well-being are considered as the foundation of sustainable development. In this regard, the country puts forward international initiatives aimed at strengthening the role of women and actively participates in the implementation of regional programs.

A vivid confirmation of this was the International conference «The role of women in modern society: development of international cooperation for sustainable development» held last December in the «Avaza» National tourist zone, organised by the Government of Turkmenistan in cooperation with the Charitable foundation for assistance to children in need of guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the United Nations.
Every state celebration acquires a unique flavour due to the participation of women. Created by their skilful hands and creative inspiration, elegant carpets, national costumes, as well as such pearls of folklore as maiden songs «läle», lullabies «hüwdi», ritual chants «monjukatdy» and «öleng», played a key role in shaping the cultural heritage of the nation. The recognition of the outstanding talent of our compatriots was the inclusion of the national art of carpet weaving, the Turkmen art of embroidery, as well as sericulture and traditional silk production for weaving in the UNESCO List of intangible cultural heritage of humanity. This fact clearly confirms the significant contribution of women to the development of national identity and strengthening the international authority of the state.

From year to year, many women in the country are awarded state awards – orders and medals. On the eve of International Women's Day, the President of Turkmenistan signed a decree awarding the honorary title «Ene mähri» to mothers with many children, as well as an order to present cash gifts to all female residents of the country – workers at enterprises and institutions, those enjoying a well-deserved retirement, schoolgirls, and kindergarten students. In addition, at the direction of the head of state, keys to apartments were presented to large families, which added to the joy of the holiday. These significant events became a symbol of the inviolability of national spiritual values and the commitment of the people to the sacred traditions of deep reverence for women – the keepers of the hearth.
Women of Turkmenistan, who feel the constant care of the state, are filled with deep gratitude to the President of the country and Hero-Arkadag for their comprehensive support, for the well-being of their families, the opportunity to realise their potential in their chosen field, and to raise children in a peaceful, prosperous homeland.

...The celebration in honour of our wonderful compatriots, organised in the building of the Chamber of commerce and industry, was filled with bright and joyful moments. The festive program featured performances by the leading soloists and dance groups of the country.
The program opened with the literary and musical composition «Arkadagly, Arkadagly Serdarly gül Watanda eneleriň mähri bar» performed by a joint group of artists from the theatres of the country. The speech artistically celebrated the beauty, nobility, and spiritual purity of Turkmen women, as well as the deep respect with which mothers are surrounded in our independent Fatherland.

The song «Garaşsyz, baky Bitarap Türkmenistan – bedew batly at-myradyň mekany», dedicated to the motto of 2026, was greeted with particular enthusiasm. This inspiring work reflects the rapid pace of development in Turkmenistan, the creative initiatives of Hero-Arkadag aimed at ensuring the well-being of the people, and the large-scale reforms successfully implemented under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The concert program included both beloved works and new compositions, world classics and foreign hits, including those in Italian and English. People's and Honoured Artists of Turkmenistan, popular vocalists, and young performers took to the stage to offer their holiday greetings, dedicating songs filled with inspiration, love, and the best wishes to their beloved women. The numbers were given a special colourful touch by the accompaniment of thematic videos.

The participants of the celebration greeted the kushtdepdi dance with friendly applause. This unique choreographic art is a vivid embodiment of the multifaceted beauty of the historical, cultural and spiritual heritage of our people. The final chord of the festive celebration was the song «Bagtyýar Diýaryň mähribanlary», which became the embodiment of the brightest wishes for our mothers, sisters and daughters, who decorate our world with their creative work and beauty.
Participants of the event expressed their boundless gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Hero-Arkadag for the reforms being implemented in the country and the creation of conditions for a prosperous life.
