National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent heartfelt congratulations to the women of the country on the occasion of International women's day.

In his address, the National Leader emphasised that in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, the dignity, moral purity, and creative talent of Turkmen women are revered at the state level.

Hero-Arkadag particularly noted the continuity of traditions and the contribution of women to the development of the country.

Respect for mother and loyalty to the family hearth are elevated to the rank of sanctity in Turkmenistan. The image of the mother is inextricably linked with the concept of the Motherland and native land («Ene toprak»). Modern women of Turkmenistan successfully realise themselves in all spheres of activity, making an invaluable contribution to strengthening the power of the Fatherland and preserving the national heritage. Particular attention is being paid to social protection, support for large families, and improving their living conditions, stated the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty.

In this context, Hero-Arkadag noted that the prosperous life, self-realisation, and creative work of women in Turkmenistan are a priority of state policy.
