Today, on errand of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, ceremonies honoring mothers who have given birth to and have raised eight or more children, being awarded the honorary title “Ene mähri” in accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, and presenting keys to new apartments to large families, were held in the capital on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
In our sovereign Fatherland, we celebrate International Women’s Day with special solemnity, embodying nurturing, exemplary morality, and tenderness, enriching it with new meaning. Honoring mothers awarded the honorary title “Ene mähri” by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan is a significant event demonstrating the high status of women in Turkmenistan. As the speakers noted, the large-scale reforms initiated by Hero-Arkadag and successfully implemented by Arkadagly Hero Serdar in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state in our beloved Fatherland encompass all spheres of public life. Programmatic measures are being implemented to ensure that citizens of the country, whose fame and authority on the global stage are steadily growing, live in prosperity and abundance, and engage in honest and creative labor.
The state treats women and girls, who make a worthy contribution to the dynamic development of the Motherland, with special care. Their role in preserving the spiritual and moral foundations of the nation, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and raising a harmoniously developed younger generation – our future – is invaluable. The event’s participants expressed their sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for creating conditions for the well-being of every family and the upbringing and education of children in our independent, permanently neutral Fatherland.
As noted, thanks to the commitment of the head of state, our female compatriots and the younger generation have the broadest prospects for modern education, comprehensive development, professional growth, and a happy life. In this regard, it was emphasized that the head of Turkmenistan has elevated these issues to the rank of priorities in state social policy. A striking example of this is the successful implementation of programs aimed at protecting motherhood and childhood, social support for large families, and others.
In Turkmenistan, women are provided with various benefits and conditions for a dignified life and work. As a result, the role of women in socio-political life is increasing, which is undoubtedly an important factor in the sustainable development of society. As many millennia ago, our people preserve the sanctity of family values, instilling in each generation such high spiritual qualities as conscientiousness, modesty, hard work, and respect for the mother. Mothers have always played a special role in society. They are the eternal guardians of the family hearth and the moral foundations of society, its spiritual and humanistic ideals.
The current celebrations were an unforgettable highlight in a series of celebratory events. In the year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Steeds”, in accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, our compatriots were awarded the honorary title “Ene mähri”. This title is the highest distinction, a profound recognition of a mother’s service to society and the state, and the invaluable contribution of remarkable women to the progress and prosperity of the Motherland.
The state renders comprehensive support to large families, including improving their housing and living conditions. This year, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, large families received keys to new, spacious, luxurious apartments and celebrated their housewarming with great enthusiasm.
At the ceremony presenting keys to new apartments to large families in the capital’s “Parahat-7’ residential complex, the new residents expressed their deep gratitude to Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the progressive reforms being implemented in the Fatherland, the creation of favorable conditions for a happy life and work, and their care for the younger generation.
Celebrations in honor of International Women’s Day are currently taking place throughout the country. On behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, all representatives of the fair sex, including the youngest preschoolers, received cash gifts, which increased their joyful mood.
